Elizabeth McGrath | With Tomorrow’s Scream

L’exposition With Tomorrow’s Scream d’Elizabeth McGrath présente un ensemble coloré et joyeux d’aquarelle et technique mixte en 2 dimensions. Chaque œuvre, installée dans la « project room » de la galerie Sloan Fine Art (New York City, USA), raconte l’histoire de créatures magiques et d’aventures fantastiques. Prise dans son entièreté, cette nouvelle série – qui a été créée jute après la naissance du premier enfant de l’artiste, semble célébrer le spectacle de la vie, les mystères de l’inconnu et les promesses du futur.

Elizabeth McGrath’s “With Tomorrow’s Scream” is a collection of brightly colored, complex, mixed media two-dimensional works. Each piece, installed in the intimate project room space, tells a story of magical creatures and fantastic adventure. When considered in it’s entirely, this new body of work, created shortly after the birth of her first child, is a joyful celebration of the spectacle of life, the mystery of the unknown and the promise of the future.
